3. Software Engineer/Computer Programmer-Analyst

The duties of the professional position include Review Business User requests, developing, testing and documenting computer programs. This entails evaluating design requests, user requests for new or modified programs, compatibility with existing systems and computer capabilities: consulting with the user to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives; formulating plans; submitting plans to the user for approval, preparing flow charts and diagrams to illustrate a sequence of steps program must follow and describe logical steps for coding and computer language.

In addition, the individual possesses years of experience and at least a bachelor’s degree. In addition, this professional position requires specialized knowledge of designing business solutions using Graphical User Interface tools, under WINDOWS environment, and knowledge of Client-Server concepts and Relational Databases. The duties described would be performed under the supervision and guidance of a Project Manager/Leader.

:- As the recognized industry/subject matter expert, uses extensive product knowledge/industry expertise to partner with sales and product management to develop strategic account plans by creating client solutions through the use of new and/or enhanced products.

:- Provides industry expertise of tools, technologies and best practice processes in a consultative manner to client base for purpose of assessing client needs and recommending solutions to unique problems.

:- Uses knowledge base gained through client in conjunction with industry expertise to formulate a set of recommendations.

:- Creates presentations and reports to deliver industry assessment recommendations to client executives. Interacts in a consultative manner with all levels of management at client sites, in writing and on the phone.

:- Has in in-depth knowledge of clients’ business model, technology platform, products and services used, contractual agreements, fee structure, key business contacts and volume/revenue statistics.

:- Proactively monitors market trends, in order to assess business impact.

:- Establishes strategic plans to seek out new opportunities. Identifies new areas of opportunity by analyzing technology, customer requirements, workflows, market trends and competitive gaps.
